A shop worker from Walsall was at the centre of a raid at a supermarket.
Police say three men forced their way into Aldi in Rugeley last night, just five minutes after the store closed to the public.
The raiders, all in their late teens or early 20s, took a member of staff, a 23-year-old woman from Walsall, to the supermarket's cash office where they got access to the safe before making off with a "substantial" amount of cash.
Police said today that she and another member of staff involved in the incident were "shocked" and were treated at the scene by paramedics. Officers are now appealing for witnesses.
DC John Owen, from Stafford CID, said: "We're urging people to let us know if they saw anyone acting suspiciously in the vicinity of Aldi yesterday, just prior to the store closing or after 8.15pm."
