Arrest after home attack

A woman has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after a man suffered neck injuries in Cannock.

The 60-year-old victim was treated at hospital after the attack at his home in the High Town area of Chadsmoor, just before 11pm on Wednesday.

The woman, who is in her early 30s and from outside the area, is being treated in hospital. Police said "no-one else was involved."
