Ellie-Mae, aged five, has cerebral palsy which affects her ability to walk or talk, meaning she is unable to sit or stand with-out physical support. Despite her problems, her family says he is a very happy girl who is always smiling and loves to go out.

Watch manager John Lawrie from Blue Watch said: "Every parent knows the early years are the most important in terms of child development and because Ellie-May is unable to sit or stand without support, she finds it difficult to interact with the world around her. "By raising funds in partnership with The Butts Motorcycle Club we will provide money for an adaptable chair which grows with her and will enable her to sit up see the world independently."

The Firefighters Charity, which provides support for bereaved, ill or injured fire and rescue service personnel and their families will also benefit from the day by sharing proceeds.

Mr Lawrie said: "Firefighters would like to thank all the generous sponsors who have provided some fantastic raffle and auction prizes for the day.

"One lucky couple will receive a first prize of bed and breakfast plus an evening meal at one of Cannock's top hotels."

The fundraiser will be held at Cannock Fire Station this Saturday.
