Talking about the upcoming show, Amy - real name Amy Goodall - said: "I cannot wait for the launch night, I feel this has been a long time coming and I am ready to do it.

"There is so much pressure involved, mixed with expectations, but I will channel all these feelings into positive energy and give the best performance.

"It is thrilling to be rehearsing for a show that many people have already bought tickets for as it allows me to focus on putting on a great show instead of worrying about who will turn up as there are only a few spaces to fill in my venue.

"My 2018 plans focused on myself being a live performer and that served its purpose by most of my year being spent seeing the world because of my singing. I feel that is why I sold 100 tickets so quickly in my hometown."

Blueprint is the product of a lot of hard work for Amy.

"I want Blueprint to take the audience on a journey with each song acting as a timeline to tell you a part of me - exploring new styles, experimenting new sounds, while delving into personal topics," she adds. "From beginning to end the listener should feel a positive progression through each track to eventually finish on a high.

"Blueprint should also really lock in an Amy G sound, something I have been searching for as an artist for a long time. These blueprints mark only the beginning but sets the foundations for greatness.

"I also gave a visual message with my EP cover as I wanted an unfinished look for my first cover to express the beginning of this journey. It's to suggest there will be a part two for Blueprint.

"My new focus for 2019 is content, there will be many more releases from me throughout the year including exciting collaborations, music videos and another big EP release at the end of 2019."

Tickets are still available for the Newhampton Arts Centre EP launch, priced at £3. These are available either through the venue or Amy's website.
