Banks's Beer Festival, Wolverhampton Racecourse - Review
As the dark nights draw in and the cold weather starts to bite, Wolverhampton Racecourse came up with a perfect offering on Friday and Saturday.
The Banks's Beer Festival provided warmth and fun to the usual night of racing entertainment at Dunstall Park.
On Saturday, races started at 5.15pm, with doors to the venue opening from 3pm.
A secret garden recently opened next to the parading area featured stalls selling German beer, Bratwurst hot dogs and mulled wine.
While in the parade area there were stalls with a wide range of ales.
There was also the usual food vendors inside the main venue, selling everything from pork baps to cheesy chips.
A three-course meal was also on offer in the premier lounge.
The racecourse started filling up from 6pm. From groups of men on a night out to large families with children, there was a wide range of people at the event.
But they all joined in the fun to be had when the races started.
It all provided a build-up to the Madness tribute band One Step Behind which performed after the races finished.
