Merseyside rockers Half Man Half Biscuit will play a gig in Bilston next year.

The satirical folk act, fronted by singer Nigel Blackwell, has been highly praised by a number of celebrities, including English broadcaster Andy Kershaw who described them as 'England's greatest folk band'.

Since founding the group in the mid 1980s, the band is known for a variety of songs, such as Joy Division Oven Gloves, Dickie Davies Eyes and Paintball's Coming Home.

Half Man Half Biscuit will play the Robin 2 in Bilston on Thursday, February 8.

Tickets cost £20 in advance or £22 on the door.
