Wolverhampton Fiesta has been dubbed 'the reincarnation of what was previously known as the City Show' - and will take place on July 15 and 16.

The two-day event will encompass a range of entertainment, from monster truck shows, to fire breathers, stilt walkers, Chinese Dragon dancers, quad bikes, classic cars and a stunt team. Other highlights set to be at the festival include a moving T-Rex dinosaur and puppet shows.

There will also be live music across the weekend, including performances from The Voice star Jason Jones and a Beyoncé tribute act, and a giant fun fair.

Harry Jones, of the Harry Jones Company - running the fun fair - said he is delighted to bring back the event.

"We’re planning to make it bigger and even better for 2017! Last year, we welcomed more than 15,000 people and I want this number to grow," he said.

"I’m so happy that we’ve been able to take on the city show and bring not just our fun fair, but two days packed full with live entertainment, games, and more.

"We get to travel the UK running big events but it’s great when we can get back to our roots and run events closer to where it all started.

"I hope everyone will join us for what is set to be another great event."

The festival will take place from midday until 8pm each day.

In addition to the entertainment, there will also be licensed bars, food courts and trade stalls.

Entry is £3 for adults and £2 for children (additional charges apply for rides and stalls).
