Invented in the Midlands, presented by Brendan Walker, will air at 7.30pm on BBC One.

It will tell the story of the little-known Midlanders, especially those in Wolverhampton, who pioneered eco-transportation over 100 years ago with an electric car and will also look at the 21st century innovators who are following in their footsteps.

Brendan Walker is an engineer and one of the regular presenters on BBC Two’s Coast.
