Sloss, the star of several Netflix and HBO comedy specials will take top billing for Funny Beesness on a number of Daniel Sloss and Friends shows this weekend.

Supported by Kai Humphries and Troy Hawke, he will be at Katie Fitzgerald's in Wollaston, Stourbridge, on Saturday and Sunday.

The trio will be performing two shows – 4pm and 7.30pm – on each day. Tickets are on sale now.

Wayne Beese, who will be MC for all four shows, said: "We are absolutely ecstatic to be bringing Daniel here for a number of intimate shows.

“He is coming off the back of a worldwide tour which took in nearly 30 countries and 300 performances, and his Netflix specials are streamed all over the world.

"His face has been plastered over huge billboards all the way down Sunset Boulevard.

“He is a genuine global star, so to get him to come to the Midlands to do these intimate gigs in front of just 40 people for each show is a real coup for us.

"Kai and Troy are amazing as well so we’re chuffed with the line-up, and can’t wait.”

Funny Beeseness began running outdoor shows in Stourbridge at the start of August after five months inactivity due to the coronavirus lockdown. They have had the likes of Paul Sinha and Barbara Nice perform and nearly 500 people in through the doors, with Milton Jones to come on September 12 and 13 in four shows that are already sold out.

Mr Beese added: “The response has been unbelievable. We have sold out every show we have put on and I am sure the Sloss shows will follow suit.

“It’s an uncertain time for our industry at the moment, but hopefully what we’ve shown here in a small part of the country is that there is definitely still a real desire in people to get out and enjoy live entertainment again in a safe environment.

"That has to be a positive thing.”
