Seven super music concerts coming to the West Midlands in 2025, including Kylie and Guns N' Roses
Gig-goers across the region have got a lot to look forward to next year as musical heavyweights will be stopping by in the West Midlands to put on some special shows.

From Black Sabbath to Ocean Colour Scene and Led Zeppelin to UB40, the West Midlands has been blessed with some pretty top-tier musicians over the years, claiming a prominent place in the industry's history.
And while we may have some blockbuster talent from the area ourselves, we've also had some of the biggest stars the world has seen make sure they add us to their list of locations when plotting their next tour.
In Wolverhampton alone, fans watched on as Def Leppard, Iron Maiden, Elvis Costello & The Attractions, Nirvana, Blur, Oasis, Pulp, The Charlatans, Boyzone, Backstreet Boys, PJ and Duncan, Salt-N-Pepa, Public Enemy, Naughty by Nature and Cypress Hill dropped by.
Since the turn of the millennium, Slipknot, Coldplay, Kaiser Chiefs, Arctic Monkeys, Ed Sheeran, Sam Smith, Florence + the Machine, Paloma Faith, Marilyn Manson, Goldie and Paul Gascoigne have all put bums on seats, selling thousands of tickets to residents across the region, and no doubt drew fans from further afield helping local business thrive.
And 2025 is set to be another stellar year for music shows, here are some you're definitely not going to want to miss out on.
1) Guns 'N' Roses at Villa Park
In what is bound to be a sold-out show, the announcement came from Aston Villa earlier this year, who will be hosting Guns N’ Roses on June 23, 2025.
General sale tickets went on sale on Friday, December 13, at 9am, while club members had access to venue pre-sale tickets a day before on December 12.
Thankfully, tickets are still available, being sold by ticket firms like Ticketmaster at the time of writing.

2) Roger Daltery at The Halls
Legendary rock singer Roger Daltrey will be hitting the road in 2025 on a special solo tour packed with classic The Who songs, solo hits and his now-famous Q&A sessions, in which he opens up to the fans who have been with him throughout the decades.
The singer, who has nearly 50 years of hits to choose from, will be playing the Halls Wolverhampton on Thursday, April 24 as part of a nine-date tour around the UK.

3) Sting at Forest Live at Cannock Chase
Music superstar Sting has been announced as a headline act for Forest Live at Cannock Chase in 2025.
The 17-time Grammy award winning artist and former frontman of The Police will perform on June 27.
Sting will team up with virtuoso guitarist and long time collaborator Dominic Miller, and drummer Chris Maas of Mumford and Sons to perform hits from his career which has seen him sell millions of albums.

4) Lionel Richie at Utilita Arena
US singer Lionel Richie is to perform a shows in the West Midlands as part of his European greatest hits tour.
The Say Hello To The Hits tour will visit Utilita Arena Birmingham on June 9, guaranteed to remind the audience of just how talented the legendary singer is.
The Grammy-winning singer, 75, is expected to play songs from across his back catalogue including including Hello, All Night Long, and Stuck On You.
The tour will kick off at Belfast's SSE Arena on May 31. He will then light up the OVO Hydro in Glasgow on June 4, before moving on to London's The O2 on June 6. He will also perform at the Utilita Arena in Sheffield on June 8 and in Birmingham on June 9, before bringing the UK leg of the tour to a close at Manchester's Co-op Live on June 12.

5) James at Forest Live at Cannock Chase
Cannock Chase Forrest is back with a bang next year with its annual festival, and has recently announced that, as well as Sting, cult Manchester indie-rock band James are the latest headliners for the concert series on Sunday, June 29.
James will also be joined on June 28 by indie-rock heavyweights Razorlight and ‘people’s poet’ Jamie Webster.
Both bands join a selection of global artists including The Script, Blossoms, Snow Patrol and Rag’n’Bone Man.

6) Kylie Minogue at bp pulse LIVE
Minogue's Tension tour will kickstart in her home country, Australia, before heading to Asia, reaching the UK on May 16, where she will perform at Glasgow's OVO Hydro.
The Aussie announced a world tour for 2025 which includes dates across England and Scotland.
The last date has been scheduled for Birmingham, making it a special concert for the singer and her fans alike.
Minogue said: "I am beyond excited to announce the Tension tour 2025.
"I can't wait to share beautiful and wild moments with fans all over the world, celebrating the Tension era and more.
"It's been an exhilarating ride so far, and now get ready for your close up because I will be calling Lights, Camera, Action... and there will be a whole lot of Padaming."

7) Tom Petty Stafford Gatehouse Theatre
Coming to Stafford, fans of the legendary musician Tom Petty can prepare to experience the magic of his music live when the Tom Petty Show 'Heartbreak' stops off at The Stafford Gatehouse Theatre on Thursday, 23 January 23. .
