Festivities and ancient folklore at West Bromwich Green Man Festival
A museum came to life with noise and colour as the Green Man Festival returned to the Black Country.
Fire-breathing, dancing and parades were all part of the fun as the Oak House Museum in West Bromwich celebrated the ancient traditions of Green Man folklore.
Families came out to enjoy the festivities, with the crowds boosted by the sunny spring weather.
And there was plenty to keep visitors entertained, including 17th-century folk tales and blacksmith demonstrations. Morris dancers skipped along the streets, while there were also battle re-enactments.
