Film guaranteed to be a scream at West Bromwich museum
The Manor House in West Bromwich will be hosting two screenings of ‘The House of Screaming Death’.
On 20th and 21st July the Manor House will be offering members of the public the chance to see the new horror film.
The film was shot across Staffordshire, Sandwell and Walsall in 2015 and 2016, with various rooms in the Manor House used as filming locations.
Set at the fictional Bray Manor, the ‘Architect’, played by Ian McNeice, reveals four ghostly stories to the audience.
The film is inspired by the works of Hammer Films and is billed as a return to the era of British gothic horror.
Created by award-winning film company Lightbeam Productions, the anthology features a variety of local cast and crew.
The film was created a budget of under £4000, much of which was crowd-funded.
Abby Butler, Visitor Services Assistant at the Manor House, said: “As it’s a Medieval building people automatically think it’s haunted.
“It’s a fantastic venue to hold something like this.”
Doors open at 6:45pm for a 7:15pm start. Tickets are available for £4.
