Willenhall virtual concert postponed due to gatherings guidance
A virtual gospel concert due to be held in a supermarket car park has been postponed due to new coronavirus rules on gatherings.
Organisers at New Testament Church of God - Willenhall Tabernacle and Morrison superstore were hoping to install a big screen for the virtual event on September 27.
Ivylue Falconer, of the organising team, stated: "Unfortunately due to the new Government restrictions we have been advised by Morrison’s that the virtual concert will have to be postponed. We're very gutted.
"After consultation with we have agreed that we will look for an alternative date sometime in the future.
"Can I take this opportunity to thank you all for supporting us with this, so many of you have messaged and was looking forward to it but hold tight, we’ll be back."
Acts include some of the country's best known gospel singers including Walsall family quartet Divine and Birmingham DJ Spanna.
