Several dates had been completed including a concert in the Robin 2, Bilston, before the band had to return to the United States where she is based.

It had originally been due to resume from the start of November, but due to the uncertainty surrounding the Covid-19 pandemic, it has been put back again.

A statement from her management said: "Joanne is really looking forward to coming back out to the UK for these shows, but it is important to Joanne and her team that those who are planning to attend the shows are able to do so safely and without concern for their health and wellbeing. To achieve this, and to allow people the opportunity to plan their travel to and from the shows, postponing until April 2021 was the best option."

The concerts start on April 6 at Oxford's O2 Academy 2 and finish on April 16 at Riverside, Newcastle-upon-Tyne.

Reckless Heart is the Wednesbury-born guitarist and singer's seventh studio album.
