Yam yam Elvis, Andy Foster, entertains his neighbours

Yam Yam Elvis, also known as Andy Foster, from Willenhall normally keeps his fans entertained at weekly pubs and events across the region.

Since social distancing was introduced to combat coronavirus he has been keeping his thousands of fans entertained on his Facebook page with regular videos.

Last Thursday the singer was on BBC Radio 5 Live where he performed a special concert on air to listeners.

Following the radio performance, he joined neighbours to go and clap for frontline staff and NHS workers outside his home at 8pm.

Andy said: "I was singing live on the radio and then went to clap with everyone, afterwards they asked me if I would sing a song for them, so I decided to put on a concert from my garage."

He dedicated the king of rock 'n' roll's hit, The Wonder of You, to staff who are supporting the health service during the global pandemic.

More Covid-19 coverage:

The performer got the residential street on their feet and waving their hands in the air as he spread some positive cheer through music.

Yam Yam's video of the performance has now had more than 400 shares on his Facebook page.

He added: "Well done to the Willenhall folk, clapping on their steps for our wonderful NHS."
