Birmingham Pride 2019: Years and Years to play festival

Pop trio Years and Years will perform at this year's Birmingham Pride festival.

Formed in 2010, the London trio is fronted by Penny Dreadful, Tormented and Skins actor Olly Alexander – who is originally from North Yorkshire.

Completed by friends Mikey Goldsworthy and Emre Türkmen, Years and Years are best known for hit songs such as If You're Over Me, Desire, Shine, King and Sanctify.

The have released two critically acclaimed albums, including 2018's Palo Santo.

They join the likes of Marc Almond, Kate Nash, Mabel, Nao, Human League and more previously announced acts for the city centre celebration.
