Birmingham band SHVPES to play Slam Dunk Festival 2019
Birmingham rockers SHVPES will play this year's Slam Dunk Festival.
The quintet will perform alongside the likes of All Time Low, NOFX, Bad Religion, Neck Deep, New Found Glory and more at the two-day event in Leeds and Hatfield.
SHVPES last performed at the festival in 2017 with the likes of Enter Shikari, Bowling For Soup, Don Broco, Deaf Havana and more across eight different stages.
Slam Dunk Festival, that has previously had a date at Birmingham's NEC, announced that the Midlands date will not take place this year.
Formed in 2009, the Brummie band - featuring vocalist and son of Iron Maiden's Bruce Dickinson, Griffin Dickinson - are best known for songs such as Afterlife, State Of Mine, Skin and Bones, Two Minutes Of Hate and Calloused Hands.
The group have just released their brand new album, Greater Than, the follow-up to their 2016 debut album Pain. Joy. Ecstasy. Despair.
SHVPES will also play this year's Bloodstock Festival at Catton Park alongside the likes of Parkway Drive, Sabaton, Anthrax and more.
The are also set to play Birmingham's Asylum Venue this Thursday alongside Mallory Knox and fellow Birmingham band Templeton Pek for the Kerrang! Radio's Love Sucks Ball.
Slam Dunk Festival takes place from May 25 to 26.
