AFC Bridgnorth Spartans held their first ever family Halloween party. The event, which was open to people of all ages, proved popular, with 300 tickets sold within the first week.

The ticket holders were treated to an array of entertainment including music from two DJs and a wide range of family games for everyone.

Spooky guests, provided by Bridgnorth's Theatre on the Steps Ghost Walk, were also on hand to greet the party goers.

Kelly Woodcock, the event organiser, hopes the event will be come an annual occurrence.

She said: "The event has been really successful, we hope this year's event will be the first of many.

"No Halloween party would be the same without a fancy dress parade and this is no exception.

"We had prizes for best dressed in all age groups, we even have some fabulous prizes from Peepo's, a Pizza restaurant based in Bridgnorth, for best dressed male and female adults."

Children were invited to take part in a 'yucky dip' which saw them push their hands into the belly of a zombie patient. Meanwhile, adults were able to enjoy fresh food provided by local business Eurasia and a few drinks at the bar.
