After a 45-year career, The End of the Road tour will see the quartet perform for one last time at Arena Birmingham

Speaking ahead of the tour, a statement released by the band said: "All that we have built and all that we have conquered over the past four decades could never have happened without the millions of people worldwide who've filled clubs, arenas and stadiums over those years.

"This will be the ultimate celebration for those who've seen us and a last chance for those who haven't.

"KISS Army, we're saying goodbye on our final tour with our biggest show yet and we'll go out the same way we came in... Unapologetic and Unstoppable."

Formed in 1973, KISS are best known for their signature face paint, stage outfits and elaborate performances.

They are known for a variety of hits, such as God of Thunder, Heaven's on Fire, Forever, I Love It Loud, Rock and Roll All Nite, and I Was Made For Lovin' You.

KISS is one of the best-selling bands of all time, having sold more than 100 million records worldwide, including 25 million RIAA-certified albums.

In 2014, the group was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

KISS will perform at Arena Birmingham on July 9.
