Westlife to bring anniversary tour to Birmingham

Pop heartthrobs Westlife will return to Birmingham next year with The Twenty Tour.

The shows will see the global pop kings perform brand new songs, alongside their greatest hits and all 14 of their number one hits including as Swear It Again, Flying Without Wings, You Raise Me Up and Unbreakable.

The quartet - made up of Shane Filan, Kian Egan, Nicky Byrne and Mark Feehily - announced their return to music with a signing of a new record deal with Virgin EMI, and the promise of new music soon.

The band, along with former member Brian McFadden, have sold more than 55 million records worldwide, and are the only band to have their first seven singles enter the UK chart at number one.

They also have the most singles of any artist to debut at number one in the UK.

As a live act Westlife have sold 5 million concert tickets worldwide.

Westlife will perform at Arena Birmingham on June 21.
