Fall Girl is back

Fall Girl, AKA Michelle Sciarrotta, has recently moved away from The Midlands but has kept her musical ties here solid, and as with previous releases the Cleveland Street-based Vinyl & Vintage are sponsoring her new work.

It follows on from her 2016 debut record Arcana, building up to her second LP which is due later this year.

Anywhere, featuring guitarist and producer Jay Man Sun, is available for pre-release now and will be released fully on all digital download platforms on June 13.

The former The Ticket Unsigned page star is looking forward to people hearing her new release and is excited to have reacquainted herself with the Vinyl & Vintage team.

“I’m still working with the girls there, the new shop is great - I recommend having a nose if you haven’t had a look around there yet,” she said. "They’ve been very supportive of the new single and are as excited for the next album as I am.”

But putting the single together hasn’t all been easy.

“I’ve got tendonitis in my left wrist, I managed to cobble together about four songs on a loop station for the Vinyl & Vintage relaunch in March which set me back a bit and it doesn’t look like I’ll be back to playing guitar anytime soon unfortunately.

“I’ve been working with a physiotherapist and am just taking it as it comes for the time being.”

But that hasn’t put the work on the record back too much, even if it has curtailed her live performances for now, and an autumn or winter release is still on the cards.

There is also a video which has been released alongside Anywhere, and can be viewed below.
