Bilston show for Thin Lizzy drummer Brian Downey's band ALIVE AND DANGEROUS

Due to popular demand, legendary Thin Lizzy drummer Brian Downey and his ALIVE AND DANGEROUS band will be performing the Irish band's Live And Dangerous record in its entirety at Bilston's Robin 2.

The Live And Dangerous tour will celebrate the live record's 40th anniversary and is touring the country in September and October, also stopping off at Stoke-on-Trent's Eleven venue.

The album is hailed by many as one of the greatest live albums of all time.

Brian said ahead of the tour: “We will be celebrating the 40th anniversary of Live And Dangerous by performing the album in its entirety when we tour it in the UK in September and October. Thin Lizzy fans have been asking us when we will embark on a UK tour. The time has finally arrived.”

Brian Downey’s ALIVE AND DANGEROUS features Brian Grace - best known as the guitarist for the Commitments’ Andrew Strong, plus former Low Rider band members Matt Wilson on lead vocals and bass and Phil Edgar on lead guitar.

The gig at Stoke's Eleven takes place on Thursday, September 27, and Downey and co rock up at Bilston's Robin 2 two days later on Saturday, September 29.
