Keyboard virtuoso Rick Wakeman on way to Wolverhampton
Keyboard and piano virtuoso Rick Wakeman will play for fans in Wolverhampton next week.
The 68-year-old icon is known for his on-off time wit prog rockers Yes, as well as the creator of concept album Journey to the Centre of the Earth based on Jules Verne's sci fi novel of the same name.
Other achievements Rick is famed for playing the piano on Cat Stevens' Morning Has Broken, Get It On by T-Rex, and Changes, Oh! You Pretty Things and Life On Mars? by David Bowie.

Rick will treat fans to a show at Wolverhampton Grand on Monday on a tour showcasing his latest album Piano Portraits, released this year.
Initially inspired by the unprecedented reaction to his performance of David Bowie’s Life On Mars on BBC Radio 2 in early 2016, Piano Portraits features instrumental versions of hits Rick originally performed on (Space Oddity, Morning Has Broken and Wondrous Stories) as well of others specifically chosen for their wonderful melodies, including Stairway To Heaven, Help and Eleanor Rigby.
