Rapper Josh Smith, whose stage name is Smiiffy, has always had a love of music, honing his skills since he was at school.
The 17-year-old, of Old Chapel Road, was inspired after meeting cystic fibrosis sufferer Lucy Wilton, from Kingstanding.
They struck up a friendship on Facebook after Lucy, 15, discovered some of Josh's music. Sadly, Lucy died last weekend.
Josh has decided to write an album called Road To Recovery with proceeds going to the Teenage Cancer Trust and Cystic Fibrosis Trust. To support him, visit www.facebook.com/Smiiffy or www.twitter.com/smiiffyartist
