The £8962.53 raised from the event at the Molineux stadium in Wolverhampton last week will go to charities Whizz Kidz and Legacy4Lucy.

It was hosted by Jardine Motors Group.

The evening consisted of a live performance from Whelan and band, and included a silent auction to raise money for the charities.

Also up for auction were Audi branded goodies including kids’ balance bikes, go-karts and golf gear.

Set up in memory of a young women who lost her battle to breast cancer, Legacy4Lucy aims to raise funds to help find a cure for breast cancer which kills 11,000 women in the UK annually.

Nathan Parry, director at sponsors Vehicle Connections, commented: “As a sponsor of the annual charity ball I am delighted to be part of a community of local businesses that support two deserving charities in Whizz Kidz and Legacy4Lucy.

"I would like to thank all involved for their dedication to making the ball a fantastic evening for a fourth year running, especially event organisers Helen Hammond and Leanne James.”

Helen and Leanne are already organising the annual charity event for 2018.
