Tom Hicks, 50, from Kingswinford, has now released a book called 'Black Country Type', made up of photos of locations from all across the region, which he took whilst out cycling.

Tom said: "It all started around five years ago where I began taking photos of signs and graffiti around the Black Country.

"I do a lot of cycling and I noticed that I have a lot of photos that I had taken whilst out cycling and I didn't know what to do with them.

"So I started an Instagram page called Black Country Type and it stuck. The page grew and very early on I got offered an exhibition, and it has grown through word of mouth and people love it.

"All the photos in the book, they're taken randomly when I go cycling, and it feels good because sometimes I'll feel lost but I see some really good stuff to capture.
