Lichfield-based Director John Waterman announced the closure of the brewery at The Shires industrial estate on Sunday.
He said: "It’s with a heavy heart we call time on Trinity Brew Co.
"We’ve had a lot of ups and downs over the last four years but we have poured our last beer.
"We had some good times, made some great beers, had some fun collabs, hosted some amazing events but ultimately it wasn’t enough.
"With the current economic climate hospitality, is really struggling, the tap room simply isn’t busy enough to maintain us."
Mr Waterman added that the brewery had never recovered from an equipment failure, which resulted in the loss of 10,500 pints of beer.
"We held out as long as we could but there was no light at the end of the tunnel and we have had to walk away," he said.
"I would like to thank everyone who has been to the tap room and all our trade customers who have bought our beer.Right now it’s raw and painful but I hope to look back on what we did at trinity and remember the good times but today is not that day."
