Pacific Pils is the first lager to have been created by Stourbridge’s Green Duck Brewing Company.

Brewery director and head brewer Alex Hill says that it has been brewed using Pacifica hops from New Zealand.

The brewery at Gainsborough Industrial Estate, Rufford Road, is producing the 4.4 per cent strength beer in cans only during the lockdown.

Green Duck normally shows rugby union internationals in its Badelynge Bar on the brewery site.

The brewing company last year ran a successful crowdfunding campaign to buy a new canning machine with Coventry’s Twisted Barrel Brewery and Tap House – another independent brewer.

Sales are via the website at https://greenduckbrewery.co.uk/ and by telephone to 01384 377666.

The brewery has also just launched home delivery cocktails at £5 each or five for £20 including favourites like Pina Colada, Tom Collins, Old Fashioned and Sex on the Beach.
