Halesowen Carnival: Fundraising appeal launched
A big fundraising appeal has been launched to ensure next year's Halesowen Carnival goes ahead.
Organisers have set up the page to help cover the costs of the free event.
It comes as more than 7,000 revellers turned out for the festival last month.
Councillor Stuart Henley, chairman, said: "We are hard at work planning for next years event after its success this year.
"We will be keeping the food and drink festival that we trailed this year due to how popular it was, we have a theme in mind for next years event and will announce this when finalised.
"The organisers have set up a fund raising page to try and raise much needed funds to cover the costs. If everyone who attended this years event donated a minimum of £1 each we would raise the money we are after."
