Free puddings at Hungry Horse pubs for anyone who donates a toy - here's where to find your local Black Country branch
A new initiative to get pre-loved toys sent to children who need them has begun at Hungry Horse pubs across the country, where anyone who donates a toy gets a free pudding.
Hungry Horse is offering a free pudding to anyone who brings in a toy to donate to the Toy Box appeal - easy as pie.
To claim a slice of cheesecake on the house, people can visit their favourite Hungry Horse pub next Thursday, November 14, head to the till and say 'Toy Boxing' and donate a new or second-hand toy.
The family pub holds the Toy Boxing charity initiative every year and this year aims to collect 5,000 toys in the first 24 hours - last year saw nearly 17,000 toys donated to children nationwide, with the pub chain aiming to exceed the 20,000 mark this time around.
Sarah Williams, senior marketing manager at Hungry Horse, said: "We're proud to bring back our annual toy donation scheme for a fourth consecutive year.
"This year, we want to thank all our amazing customers for their donations by offering a free slice of our delicious Raspberry Trifle Cheesecake to anyone who is able to gift a toy to someone in need in their local area.
"So, head on down to your local Hungry Horse on November 14, donate a toy, and enjoy a tasty dessert on us.”
