Visitors can purchase refreshments through a safe hatch from the hall's south facing terrace.

It is hoped the service, which is run by the Himley team, will help people enjoy a longer stay at the popular park site.

Councillor Ian Kettle, Dudley Council's cabinet member responsible for halls, said: "We have been working to find a way to safely resume our coffee service at Himley Hall and Park and we are delighted to confirm that people will be able to get a take away service from today.

"We are reminding visitors to continue to observe social distancing, as per government advice, and to be considerate of staff and other people throughout their time at the hall and park."

The service opened yesterday(30). The Himley terrace hatch will be open between 11am and 4pm, Tuesday to Sunday.
