Jeff is Beck in town next year

Guitar legend Jeff Beck will now come to the West Midlands next year, having postponed his 2020 tour due to the coronavirus outbreak.

Beck, best known for his 1967 hit Hi Ho Silver Lining, a favourite of football fans around the country and regularly sung by fans of Wolves and Aston Villa, will be performing at Symphony Hall on April 25 next year.

He was originally due to appear in Birmingham on May 18, and organisers say tickets for the cancelled show will be valid for next year's appearance.

Beck, who replaced Eric Clapton in The Yardbirds before forming the Jeff Beck Group, has received eight Grammy Awards in a career spanning more than five decades, and been ranked by Rolling Stone magazine as one of the 100 greatest guitarists of all time,
