The artist, known for releasing an album every year on his birthday - December 1, dropped his 10th record in a decade A Bird In The Hand, on that date this month.

The cult songwriter, real name Jay McAllister and from Braintree in Essex, will tour his new LP with a full live band for fans to hear in the new year.

Recorded with Ben Lovett of Mumford & Sons at the top tier Church Studios in London, the warmly received album features singles Another Year, Alexa and Magic, and recently charted at No.3 in the Record Store Chart.

Also known for the political twinge to his music, Beans said: "I think everyone already knows where I stand on Trump and Brexit, and if not, they can listen to my last two albums. This album is more personal I guess, focusing on family and the world on my doorstep. That's where my head's been this last year."

Tickets to the show at Castle & Falcon, on Moseley Road, Birmingham, are priced at £16.50 and available here.
