Drag tour with Birmingham date raises thousands for transgender charity
A drag tour that stopped off in Birmingham has raised thousands for a transgender charity.
Holy Trannity and Dragged Up's Hells of Hell tour raised £4,620 for Mermaids through selling posters signed by performers on the tour.
Mermaids is a UK based charity that offers support to transgender and gender variant children and young people, their families and supporting professionals.
The show came to Birmingham's O2 Academy on October 24, featuring a series of RuPaul's Drag Race stars such as Sharon Needles, Alaska, Aja Jinkx Monsoon, Willam, Ivy Winters, and Latrice Royale.

In a statement posted on Holy Trannity's facebook, company owner Paul McAvoy and Dublin queen Victoria Secret thanked fans for their contributions.
They also extended thanks to Barpop Canal Street, Antonio Roman and John Desmond Hamilton for covering the costs to fly a representative from Mermaids to be presented with a check during the Dublin date of the tour.
