Stars to pay tribute to Katie Fitzgerald's in online anniversary celebrations
Stourbridge venue Katie Fitzgerald's will celebrate it's 20th anniversary next week with a virtual show.
This virtual gig will go out on the venue's YouTube channel on June 14 at 4pm and features messages and performances from Brian Travers of UB40, Suzanne Vega, Kevin Rowland of Dexy’s Midnight Runners, Brian Tatler of Diamondhead, Miles Hunt of the Wonder Stuff, former David Bowie guitarist Gerry Leonard and more.
The show will also feature Atomic Tommy M of UFO, Vix from Fuzzbox, Paul Sinha, Lost Voice Guy, Tom Stade, Patrick Monahan, Angelous Epithemiou, Jo Enright, Zoe Lyons, Archie Kelly, Wayne Beese, The Fizzogs and more.
This virtual gig is also linked to the venue's crowdfunding activities. It will include a merchandise page as well as having a virtual bar online where viewers can pledge to support the continued survival of the venue.
There will be a range of anniversary t-shirts, beer and branded glasses for patrons to purchase.
