Luke Perry, from Cradley Heath, turned his skills to the animal kingdom to create his latest masterpiece.
Mr Perry has previously crafted a range of sculptures – including a bronze statue highlighting the contribution of Sikh soldiers during the First World War in Smethwick.
The new sculpture, made from sheet steel, will be used to raise awareness of the plight of the animals in the wild.
Dudley Zoo relaunched its walk-through Lemur Wood, home to free-roaming lemurs, last year.
