The week off gives pupils some much-needed time to unwind from their studies, but after a few days without school can easily see boredom kicking in.
Balancing work and life can make it difficult for parents to keep on top of what’s on in the Black Country and Staffordshire, but hopefully this list will keep the little ones entertained without costing a fortune.

The newly opened family entertainment centre in the Mander Centre has a whole host of differing activities for kids of all ages, including bowling, an arcade, darts and a soft play area.
Opening hours at the venue are 9am to 11pm from Sunday to Thursday, and 9am to 12am on Fridays and Saturdays.

The British and Irish Association of Zoos and Aquariums’ ‘Love Your Zoo’ campaign is returning again this May half term and aims to promote the important work done in nature conservation, education, research and more.
The theme this year is Allies for Wildlife, and Dudley Zoo are running a trail around the 40-acre site for the chance to win an animal adoption, a crafting thank you cards session for our conservation partners and zookeepers, and a programme of animal talks each day.
