Bacardi got in touch with me following the release of the most highly anticipated fantasy film of the year, and shared the recipes for two perfect cocktail potions to stir up the excitement.

Having now made and tasted them myself, I can tell you that these vibrant cocktails are perfect all year round - a simple and impressive way to show off your skills to your family and friends this festive season.

Whether it's the refreshing Hugo Rosé Spritz or the fruity Green Tea Smasher, Bacardi has fashioned some stunning recipes that will certainly capture the spirit of the season.

The two cocktails that we are learning to make today are the St Germain Hugo Rosé Spritz and Teeling’s Green Tea Smasher. Not only are they aesthetically pleasing but offer a stylish nod to the season, making them ideal for parties with an Instagram-worthy twist.

These cocktails provide effortless elegance for at-home entertaining - so let's get right into it. 

St Germain Huge Rose Spritz

Ingredients

St Germain Elderflower Liqueur - 40ml

Rosé Prosecco (or Still Rosé wine) - 60ml

Soda water - 60ml

Mint leaves

Lime wedge for garnish

Mint sprig for garnish

Method

  1. Pour St-Germain over ice in a glass. 

  2. Add mint and top with sparkling wine and soda.

  3. Stir to combine all of the ingredients.

  4. Garnish with a sprig of mint and lime wedge.

TEELING Small Batch Irish Whiskey - 30ml

Peach Schnapps - 30ml

Lemon-Lime Soda - 30ml

Sours (Lemon and lime cordial) Mix - 30ml

  1. Shake all ingredients with ice.

  2. Pour into a Rocks glass over ice.
