Bridgnorth teenage singing sensation Macy O gets a hug from Kaiser Chiefs frontman Ricky Wilson while busking in Ludlow
A teenage singing sensation from Bridgnorth got to meet a superstar idol while she out busking in Ludlow.
Kaiser Chiefs fan Macy O, from Highley, even got a hug from band's frontman Ricky Wilson as he was wandering around the sights of the town before his big gig at the castle on Friday.
"It's been unbelievable, you could have knocked me out with a feather," said Naomi Waterson, Macy's mum. Naomi was in Ludlow running her Sheepware woollen and gunware arts stall as usual on the market.
It all came about when Macy's stepdad - Antony Shorter - went to the Spar shop in town to get some water. He met Ricky Wilson and he told her that Macy is a singer and would be busking in town.
"Ricky said he would come back and have a listen," she said.
So at about 1.45pm, Macy was setting up her speakers near the market and true to his word down to earth Ricky came down and stayed to listen for a whole set.
