Cannock's Marquis Drive to release fourth single

Cannock indie band Marquis Drive will release their next single 21st Century Gospel on April 26.

It is the fourth single for the band, who last year topped the UK vinyl charts.

The group is made up of keyboard player Mat Drury, Mark Hillier on vocals and acoustic guitar, Chris Eardley on rhythm guitar and vocals, drummer and vocalist Conal Saha, bassist Mal Flynn, Ed Thomas on guitar and vocals and Leon Harrison on vocals and percussion.

Publicity for their new release says: "Just as with previous lockdown anthems Truth Don’t Shock and Spaceman, the song

will be available on all digital platforms, with vinyl production delayed until it is viable.

Marquis Drive have also landed huge slot at the Creation Festival, which will now take place in Wolverhampton's West Park next year and see the musicians supporting Editors and The Happy Mondays.
