WATCH: Teenager stuns Merry Hill shoppers with impromptu piano performance

A teenager stunned shoppers at Merry Hill with an impromptu piano performance that has garnered more than 150,000 views online.

The youngster, named online as Cameron, can be seen surrounded by his friends in hoodies and baseball caps sitting at the piano, located at the Brierley Hill shopping centre for musicians to walk up to and play at will.

He gathered a crowd when he sat down and played various classical pieces on the instrument.

A video of the maestro's performance has since gone viral on social media, garnering more than 4,000 shares and almost 6,000 likes.

People have praised the young musician for his talent at the keys and urging people not to judge a book by its cover.

"From the parent of a youngster who wears caps, man bags and hoodies - this absolutely made my day," one Facebook user commented.

"My lad has done voluntary work for two years. Don’t judge - there’s a real person under that hoodie."
