Sleeping Beauty comes to Brierley Hill Civic Hall

Pantomime season continues in the Black Country – as Sleeping Beauty makes her way to Brierley Hill.

Brierley Hill Musical Theatre Company is staging the much-loved pantomime at Brierley Hill Civic Hall from Saturday.

The production features a cast of more than 40 actors and actresses – with the company promising fun for all the family.

Joanne Gresswell, vice-chairman of Brierley Hill Musical Theatre Company and a member of the pantomime production team, said: "We have a cast of more than 40 people involved in Sleeping Beauty, including children in the cast who have been learning and working hard along with the principals.

"It is a family pantomime – it offers something for everyone.

"We have been rehearsing for the show since September on a couple of nights a week.

"They are an amazing cast and we have little ones from eight years old and upwards. They are an amazing bunch of people to work with and they have been working really hard."

Sleeping Beauty runs on January 11, 12, 16, 17 and 18. Matinees will also take place on January 11, 12 and 18.
