The gig on June 21 is his latest in the region and follows a mini tour that saw him play at Liverpool's famous The Cavern Club as part of the International Pop Overthrow Festival on May 15. He will also take in Worcester's Paradiddles on June 1 in support of Vinny Peculiar and the Leamington Peace Festival on June 16 before the Stourbridge gig.

Sleuth, who released his debut EP Group of Bears in December, is looking forward to returning to Claptrap. He said: "Claptrap is an extremely well-regarded venue, getting bands coming to play from all over the country.

"Sean and Sarah who own the venue are extremely passionate and this shows in their events, quality of venue and, possibly most of all to the musicians, the sound. It's always a pleasure to play there."

It's been a good couple of weeks for both Sleuth and Claptrap The Venue. They have both picked up a stack of nominations in the inaugural Black Country Music Awards that will be held on June 21 at ICB Wolverhampton.
