Gaz Coombes will come to Wolverhampton next month

The Supergrass frontman is set to take to the stage at Wolverhampton's Newhampton Arts Centre next month.

The singer's concert should have gone ahead earlier this year but had to be rescheduled after he broke his leg.

His injury meant a string of European shows had to be cancelled and UK dates moved.

The 43-year-old will appear at the Dunkley Street venue on May 29, bringing to life tracks from his latest album World's Strongest Man.

Coombes left Supergrass in 2010 after a number of hits including Caught By The Fuzz, Alright and Richard III.

The band's’ first album, I Should Coco, entered the UK Albums Chart at number one in May 1995, achieving half a million sales in the UK and more than one million worldwide.
