West Bromwich theatre society looking to cast actors for latest show

A theatre society is appealing for actors to audition for a role in its new comedy production.

CADS is casting for its latest show

CADS will stage its version of Ladies Down Under - the sequel to Ladies Day by Amanda Whittington.

The show is being performed between April 3 and 6 next year.

Following its award-winning production of Ladies’ Day in 2015, CADS will return with the sequel which finds the four ladies celebrating their win at Ladies Day with the trip of a lifetime to Australia.

The cast includes four ladies mid-20s to mid-50s and men of similar age playing parts including a firefighter, drag queens, flight attendants and various other roles.

The group is also interested in welcoming people for technical and backstage work.

Readings and auditions will take place at The Theatre, Gayton Road Community Centre in West Bromwich November 20 and 22 at 7.30pm with final casting on December 4.
