Jen North will be performing at The Quayside at 1.40pm as part of the Bridgnorth Music and Arts Festival, blends soulful tones of alternative pop with an indie twist.

Always busy creating new music, Jen is no stranger to the music industry. In fact, she regularly takes inspiration from her Grandad, who was Tom Jones' lead guitarist in the 1960s.

As a creative individual, Jen believes her passion for music was a natural progression.

"Every performance is different but It’s great to be performing in my home town Bridgnorth with all my friends and family," explained Jen.

During her performance on Monday, Jen will be performing singles from her brand new EP Times Before.

She has been working tirelessly on her new music over the summer, alongside Bridgnorth based produced Dan Bradley.

She added: "It will be great to get people reactions and thoughts towards it.

"At the moment I’m constantly writing music and trying to improve my skills, I’m also trying to do as many gigs as possible by taking every opportunity I can. I always feel each gig teaches you something different, which is what I love about performing. This summer, I’ve focused a lot of my time on working on my EP with Dan.

After moving to Bridgnorth at seven, Jen went onto study at St John's Primary and Wrekin College.

The young talent is aiming for the stars, and will soon be attending Tring Park Performing Arts School in Hertfordshire, where she'll be studying commercial music.

"I hope people listening to my music can relate and feel what I am trying to portray. I’ve truly loved doing this and can’t wait for people to hear it."
