On what’s sure to be a Dark, Dark Night with the clocks going back this Sunday, why not treat yourself to a meal at Nosh and Quaff, situated opposite the Town Hall. The restaurant’s extensive menu offers a range of starters, such as lobster cakes, sticky barbecue wings and mac ‘n’ cheese bites. If you fancy something simpler, Pieminister is also just a stone’s throw from the venue in Waterloo Street. Pies on offer at the eatery include steak and ale; steak and stilton, and mushroom, asparagus and wine.

Just a two-minute walk from Birmingham Town Hall is The Chameleon in Victoria Square. The restaurant and bar offers two for one on classic cocktails between midday and 8pm from Monday to Saturday. Other bars nearby include the Post Office Vaults and Purecraft Bar and Kitchen. You’ll have No Regrets drinking at any of these top bars.

SLUMBER SPLURGE

Why not treat yourself to a luxury stay at the Raddison Blu hotel at Holloway Circus? The stunning city centre hotel is located less than a 10-minute walk from the Town Hall. Guests can enjoy beautiful views of Birmingham, while making the most of the hotel’s free wifi and fitness centre, as well as their Collage restaurant and two bars. New Street Station is just a short walk away from This One.
