The band will take to the stage at an exclusive after-hours gig at the shopping centre on Saturday November 18.

The boys, whose hits include Can We Dance and Last Night, will be supported by X Factor star Fleur East.

A total of 400 ticket-holders will get to see The Vamps, including Bradley Simpson, from Sutton Coldfield, at the centre in Brierley Hill from 8pm.

And anyone who buys £50 worth of intu Gift Cards at the centre from this Monday will be entered into a prize draw to win one of 200 pairs of tickets, with winners drawn throughout October.

Tickets will also be awarded to young heroes in the local area who deserve recognition for selfless acts, such as charity and community work.

Rob Pickersgill, marketing manager at intu Merry Hill, said: “We are always looking for new ways to make our shoppers smile and bring them something unexpected, so we’re thrilled that the UK’s biggest boy band is joining us for what promises to be an unmissable Christmas lights switch-on event.”

Last year X Factor music duo Reggie 'n' Bollie strutted their stuff in front of hundreds of fans at Merry Hill's Christmas lights extravaganza.
