Open-air theatre group return to Walsall Arboretum
Open-air theatre graced Walsall Arboretum for the second time this summer - with a murder mystery keeping the crowd on the edge of their seats.
Heartbreak Productions's Murder on the Terrace centre's on a posh garden party which descends into chaos when a Lord's nephew is found dead having been poisoned.
A detective arrives to investigate and the audience is kept guessing as things become more and more farcical.
The upstairs-downstairs tale mixes a garden party, a pet parrot and a sardonic inspector.
Those in the audience, of which there were a few dozen, brought chairs and picnics to accompany the live entertainment, which began at 5pm on Sunday.
The performance followed on from that of The Secret Garden at the same venue at the end of July.
Heartbreak Productions has been touring both the UK and abroad for more than 25 years with a repertoire of productions numbering more than 50.
Murder on the terrace is part of the company’s 2017 summer season which also includes The Secret Garden, Billionaire Boy, Northanger Abbey and The Taming of the Shrew.
