Igglepiggle, iggle onk, we're going to catch the Ninky Nonk.. only words the parents of a toddler could possibly understand.
For those who don't think I'm talking gobbledygook then you'll know I'm referring to In the Night Garden - the Cbeebies juggernaut that's attracted legions of fans both young and old.
The live version of the Bedtime Hour favourite runs in Cannon Hill Park, Birmingham, until the end of the month (July 30), and is essential for anyone in rightful ownership of a toddler.
Staged inside a giant white 'Showdome', the hour-long experience brings to life the programme through clever puppetry, costumed characters, enchanting music and captivating projections.
There's a choice of two stories - the Ninky Nonk, or Pinky Ponk. We opted for the former, which involved going in search of Igglepiggle's lost red blanket.
Taking to our seats in the spacious arena, our one-year-old daughter was rather baffled as the show began - but was soon dancing and clapping along to the well-known jingles. It was a delight to watch it through her eyes as all of the characters she'd come accustomed to watching on telly before bed were suddenly there before her. Igglepiggle, Makka Pakka, Upsy Daisy, The Pontipines were all there in technicolor glory.
Beautifully staged, with real craftsmanship, the show was just long enough to keep little ones captivated before getting restless. The same can be said for the parents too!
Tickets for the show aren't cheap and there's even more opportunity to splash the cash on a range of merchandise afterwards however, to see the joy on your little one's face was worth every penny.
Isn't that a pip? It most certainly is.
